Hello Julie

I met you at the Centre for Women in Business Networking event  last month and I have just put two and two together.  What a series of strange co-incidences and I thought I must write and tell you.

I had a quick chat with you at the event, I remember you because you have a British accent and my is strong Welsh.  Your business card has been near my computer for a few weeks in a folder and yesterday my son piped up "Is Julie Lambert a relation to Adam Lambert, whose song I like?" (he is 9 by the way!).  It made me suddently sit up and take notice of the book I am currently reading – Angels Carry Unmbrellas.  And having just looked up your web site from the business card, I can’t believe how this came to be.  I don’t usually read book like this but I was intrigued by the title and wanted to learn more.

Anyway, your book is phenomenal, I am truly blessed to have it in my possession, it is inspirational and I highly recommend it.

Perhaps we can get together for a coffee sometime as I would love to learn more about you and your business and I would like you to sign a copy of the book to give to a dear friend for her birthday.

Julie, I just can’t thank you enough for giving me the privilege of reading your first book.

Now that I have just finished it, so many things have come to mind of my first angel contacts. 

When Dad died, something happened which is still causing me wonderment.   My first love phoned me to ask if he could come to the funeral.   I had not seen him for nearly 40 years, and I said of course that would be nice, and his parents came too.  As a bit of background, we never broke up, but were pulled apart by my brother and his wife way back then.  After the funeral at the "after-party" I felt a need to introduce him to my sons and their partners.     I was always close to his Mum and she asked me to come down to where they lived some 90 klms away south of here. He lives next door to his parents house.    My comfort zone in driving is from here (Richmond NSW) to Penrith to take care of my parents.    Never in my life would I have ever ventured that far away.   My cheeky sons bought me an overnight bag and a GPS for my car.   Anyway a couple of weeks later I hopped in my car after doing my mother’s shopping on the Friday afternoon and headed off for the weekend.   Never once did I feel any fear as I knew I was not alone on that trip.   Even the next time when I went and got hopelessly lost (for nearly an hour)  I still did not feel any fear as again I knew I was being directed safely to my destination.   My family is still in shock that I drove that far.

Anyway Graham and I have not been apart on the weekends since then.   He came up for my younger son’s wedding two weeks ago and was totally accepted by all.   Another weird thing from the wedding is that when the bouquet was being thrown (no I did not get up to take part in the catching of it),  it went so far over the heads of the single girls and landed at my feet.   The bride told me she only gave it a "little flick".   The groom reckons it was "grandpa’s doing".  

The last chapter of your book has set me totally free now. (This could be why I had not been told to finish it till now)   I was wondering how I could pack up my house as I am eventually moving to Bargo (to Graham’s), but decided to allow my angels to work that one out for me and it has given me so much more peace.  Of course I will not be going yet as I have my mum to take care of even though she lives independently, but at 92 cannot do too much these days.  

Once again dear friend, thank you for sharing your book with me.  Funny every time I look at your picture on the back cover, I feel I know you and have done for such a long time.   Looking forward to the next one.
